SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Method of increasing viability in calves in neonatal period involves addition for non-milking cows before the expected calving an agent, acting on the viability of newborn calves. As a means of agent using live culture of microalgae of plankton strain Chlorella Vulgaris IFR № C-111 in the form of suspension, which is fed in the housing season in the morning feeding for 45 days before calving in amount of 800 ml for 30 days.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase viability in calves.
