FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, particularly a method of cultivating plankton chlorella used as fodder for farm animals. Method is developed for culturing during a day in the mode of two light and one dark phase, wherein temperature of the suspension is maintained within 28 to 30 °C. A nutrient medium consisting of mineral and organic components is used. Cultivation is carried out in three stages, which differ in amount of used organic components of nutrient medium.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a product differing in content of biomass for differentiated use as fodder for farm animals.
