The method provides for the use of a biologically active additive in the following dosages: for calves of the milk feeding period, 10 ml per 1 kg of live weight from 8 to 120 days of age. A suspension of chlorella strain Chlorella vulgaris with pectin is used as a biologically active additive (dietary supplement).

EFFECT: use of the invention will provide better assimilation of feed.
