SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of emergency aircraft landing. Method of emergency aircraft landing involves using an automatic braking device including dowel-piles, an resilient elastic halyard and a dowel-gun. In case of impossibility of an aircraft to reach the nearest airport a flat landing site shall be found, the length of which is at least 1.5-1.3 of the halyard length. Aircraft is landed at the beginning of the landing site. When the aircraft landing gear touches the landing site, a dowel-pile is automatically shot in by means of the dowel-gun. Braking device partially brakes the aircraft movement via the braking resilient elastic halyard till complete stop of the aircraft. Passengers are evacuated.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at landing an aircraft outside an airport.
