FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, radio electronics and can be used in pulsed power supply sources, namely in flyback voltage converters, as overvoltage limiting circuit on power diode occurring during switching. Flyback converter damping device comprises transformer secondary winding, which first output is connected to charging capacitor first output and device output through first diode, as well as through in-series circuit consisting of first capacitor and second diode. First capacitor and second diode connection point is connected to inductance first output. Transformer secondary winding second output is connected to charging capacitor second output and to "common" circuit. Third diode cathode is connected to inductance first output. Third diode anode is connected to inductance second output and to "common" circuit via additional capacitor.
EFFECT: technical result of disclosed invention consists in improvement of flyback converter efficiency and provided by use of reactive elements, recharging during action of any half wave, output of secondary transformer winding regenerative dissipation energy accumulated in inductance to charging capacitor and load.
