SYSTEM CONTROLLER FOR ELECTRONIC OPHTHALMIC LENS WITH VARIABLE OPTICAL PROPERTIES Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61F9/00

Abstract RU 2605796 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Ophthalmic lens with power supply comprises: soft plastic part with electronic insert, wherein electronic insert comprises electronic system, optical element with variable optical properties, which is activated or controlled by electronic system, wherein mentioned electronic system is built in electronic insert of ophthalmic lens and can be used in an eye or on an eye; system controller, built-in electronic system to control its operation, system controller is configured to implement leading finite automaton, which receives and generates signal; electronic circuit built in electronic system, wherein electronic circuit is functionally related to system controller and provides its power supply, wherein electronic circuit includes one or more sources of power supply and one or more circuits for clock generator inputs; first sensor and first sensor signal path, second sensor and second sensor signal path, wherein leading finite automaton is configured to periodically activate first sensor and first sensor signal path and receive sensor signal or sequence of values, wherein activation period corresponds to preset sampling frequency of first sensor and first sensor signal path, wherein first and second sensors are selected from: illumination sensor, pressure sensor, capacitive touch sensor, or electromagnetic coil, or antenna to receive radio-frequency or low-frequency electromagnetic signals, eyelid position sensor, pupil convergence sensor, backward directed pupil dilation sensor, sensor-detector, blinking recognition sensor or any combination of sensors; actuating device configured to receive output signal of system controller.

EFFECT: application of this invention allows to reduce size of device and its power consumption.
