FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for olefin polymerisation using a Ziegler-Natta catalyst for producing propylene-based polymer. Method involves reacting under polymerisation conditions and in presence of hydrogen (H2) of propylene and optionally one or more comonomers with a catalyst composition including a procatalyst composition, containing 3,6-disubstituted-1,2-phenylene dibenzoate, a cocatalyst and an external electron donor. During reaction molar ratio H2/propylene is maintained from 0.005 to less than 0.1 and a propylene-based polymer with melt flow rate of more than 10 g/10 min is formed.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain propylene-based olefins with high melt flow rate.
