FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to halogenated amidoesters having the structure (I), in which R1-R6 are the same or different, each of R1-R6 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen and an acyclic alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms, and, at least, one of R1-R6 represents an acyclic alkyl group; and Ar1 and Ar2 are the same or different, and each of Ar1 and Ar2 is selected from the group consisting of an aryl group having 6-20 carbon atoms and an arylalkyl group having 7-20 carbon atoms and, at least, one of Ar1 and Ar2 halogenated. The invention also relates to a procatalyst composition for the preparation of an olefin-based polymer comprising a combination of a magnesium component, a titanium component, and from 0.1 to 20.0 wt % of an internal electron donor containing the said halogenated amide ester of the structure (I). The procatalytic composition contains a benzoate of the structure (IV), where R1-R5 are selected from H or C1-C20-hydrocarbyl group; and R' is selected from C1-C20 of the alkyl group and the alkoxyalkyl group. The invention also relates to a catalyst composition for producing an olefin-based polymer comprising a procatalyst composition and a cocatalyst. The process for producing an olefin-based polymer comprises contacting, under polymerization conditions, an olefin with a catalyst composition containing from 0.1 to 20.0 wt % of a halogenated amide ester of the formula (I), and forming an olefin-based polymer containing a halogenated amide ester.
EFFECT: halogenated amide ester for use in olefin polymerization processes having high catalytic activity, high selectivity.
