FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for investigating underground deposits using electric fields. Proposed is a system to create or measure electric fields in a well comprising: the first electrode located inside the well with an axis and having electric contact with the soil; an amplifier connected to the first electrode; and the second electrode made so that between the first electrode and the second electrode there is the first electric field created. Herewith the second electrode is placed in the well opposite to the first electrode, while the first and the second electrodes are made and arranged for measuring electric field "Ex", in fact, orthogonal to the well; and the amplifier is configured able to measure this electric field and transfer its value to another place. Besides, in one version the system can contain at least the third electrode made so that between the first electrode and the third electrode there is the second electric field created, herewith the second and the third electrodes are counter electrodes arranged at a distance from each other and outside the well, and a connected sensor placed outside the well configured to measure the electric fields created by the system in the soil between the first electrode and each of the counter electrodes. In another version the proposed system comprises a connected source configured to generate an electric field in the direction, in fact, orthogonal to the well axis, measured by the system, herewith the source is located outside the well, and the first electrode is made able to establish electric contact with the soil through the working capacitive connection.
EFFECT: presented invention enables creation of electric fields directed in the orthogonal direction relative to the well, while avoiding problems related to galvanic contact.
