FIELD: soil or rock drilling; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the drilling of wells and can be used to determine the distance or direction of contiguous wells. In particular, a guided drilling method is disclosed, which includes drilling a first borehole and casing it with a casing tubular having at least one data transmission and reception device, each data transmission and reception device has an adapter which communicates with a frame antenna, which covers the casing tubular; deploying, inside the casing tubular, a conductive path that extends from a surface interface to the at least one data transmission and reception device; drilling a second borehole with a drill string having a bottomhole assembly; obtaining distance or direction information from electromagnetic (EM) field measurements from a first EM field, acquired using the bottomhole assembly and generated by at least one data transmission and reception device. Further, obtaining information about the distance or direction includes receiving, by the at least one data transmission and reception device, response signals of the EM field measurements from a second EM field generated by the bottomhole assembly, and transmitting said signals from at least one data transmission and reception device to the surface; and controlling the path of the drill string at least in part based on the obtained distance or direction information.
EFFECT: technical result is a wider range of tools of guided drilling tools.
