SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction in earthquake-prone areas of buildings and structures. Damping rod for brick wall panel, is a coaxial cylindrical shells, between which there are coaxially located tubular damping elements of the vibration dampening material, to the ends of which flat rigid supports are rigidly connected. Density of layers of the vibration dampening material is lower than density of the coaxially located cylindrical shells. Coaxial cylindrical shells of reinforcement damping rods are perforated, and polyurethane is used as vibration dampening material of tubular damping elements. At that the flat rigid supports, connecting end surfaces of the coaxial cylindrical shells, are combined, consisting of at least three layers: top and bottom layers are rigid, and the third layer, arranged between them, is damping. Inner central cavity of the cylindrical shell is filled with vibration damping material, for example polyurethane, or foamed polymer, for example, polyethylene or polypropylene, or crumb of vibration damping materials: rubber, cork, foam plastic, capron, foamed polymer, "Schwim" plastic, with crumb fraction size of 1.5÷2.5 mm, filled with elastomer, for example polyurethane, or from solid damping material, in which foam rubber is used, or needled fabric of "Vibrosil" type based on of silica or aluminoborosilicate fibre, or non-woven vibration damping material.

EFFECT: technical result is higher earthquake resistance of the brick wall panel.
