FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction in earthquake-prone areas of buildings and structures. Rod for a brick panel of an earthquake-proof building is made damping, in the form of coaxially arranged cylindrical shells, between which co-axially arranged tubular damping elements of a vibration damping material, to the ends of which rigid rigid stops are rigidly attached, while the density of the layers of the vibration damping material is less than the density of coaxially arranged cylindrical shells, coaxially arranged cylindrical shells of the reinforcement damping rods are perforated. Flat rigid stops that connect the end faces of coaxially arranged cylindrical shells are made of a combination of at least three layers: the lower and upper layers are rigid, and the third layer, arranged between them, is damping. Rod is made with a coaxially located spring in an inner cylindrical cavity, to the ends of the rods of which flat rigid abutments are attached, lower stop being connected to the cylindrical damping member rigidly, for example by welding, and the upper stop is connected by means of a threaded sleeve whose internal diameter is equal to the inner diameter of the rod, the spring being "stuck" inside the rod, i.e. is not in a free state, but in a stressed elastic-damping state, ready for damping even minor seismic shocks or other external effects of a stochastic (random) nature, and the inner cavity of the rod is filled with a vibration damping material, for example polyurethane.

EFFECT: increased seismic resistance of brick wall panel.
