FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in electrical engineering. According to the method, for formation of disturbances in zero-sequence circuit (ZSC) a series of alternating polarity pulses with repetition period in a series close or equal to period of intrinsic oscillation circuit is used. Input analogue values of unbalance voltage and current of the reactor are digitized, using the calculated value of the sampling frequency of Fd, free component is obtained by subtracting input and delayed by a time T signal taking into account changes of industrial frequency on the interval of T. Determined natural oscillation frequency of zero-sequence circuit, is compared with a frequency equal to the industrial network, maladjustment value is found and when its value is beyond the preset settings, influnce on the change of inductive current of ASR.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase of the accuracy of the setting of arc-supressing reactors (ASR), validity and expanded field of application.
