FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engine. Disclosed is internal combustion engine, comprising: control unit, which determines dew condensation occurrence or non-occurrence on nozzle end section based on amount of heat obtained by injector nozzle, and injector nozzle end temperature at moment when ignition is switched off, and performs controls in order to prevent nozzle corrosion, when in nozzle end section possibility of dew condensation is determined. Control unit calculates nozzle end temperature reduction rate based on amount of heat obtained by nozzle, based on nozzle end temperature reduction rate calculates dew point achieving time and based on time required to reach dew point determines dew condensation occurrence or non-occurrence on nozzle end section.
EFFECT: technical result consists in accurate determination of dew condensation onset moment on nozzle end section, in order to effectively suppress dew deposition.
