SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heating of vehicle power unit. Disclosed are methods and systems of vehicle warm-up, which contain before engine start and when temperature of power unit of vehicle is lower than outside temperature: coolant heating is performed by means of its circulation through the radiator, the electric fan of which is actuated for retraction of warm external air in order to heat said coolant, and passing said heated coolant through the power unit.

EFFECT: technical result is maintaining temperature of power unit close to external temperature, thereby reducing energy consumed for heating engine during start-up.
