SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle part cover. Vehicle part cover comprises methacrylic resin (I), having weight-average molecular weight, measured by gel-chromatography (GPC) method, equal to from 70,000 to 230,000, residual monomers content from 0.1 % to 1 % by weight, and weight loss percentage during holding for 30 minutes at approximately 270 °C is equal to 1.2 % or less. Methacrylic resin (I) contains: 50–97 % by weight of link based on methacrylate monomer (A); 3–30 % by weight of structural link (B), having annular structure in main chain and representing, at least one link selected from group, consisting of structural link based on maleimide, structural link based on glutaric anhydride, structural link based on glutarimide and structural link based on lactone ring; and 0–20 % by weight of link based on another vinyl monomer (C), which is copolymerizing with methacrylate monomer.
EFFECT: technical result is high thermal stability, transparency, heat and moisture resistance, article thermal stability, manufacturability when processing by moulding.
