FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydropower industry and can be used in production of electric energy on rivers. Hydroelectric power plant consists of one or more rows of chains of floating hydroturbine modules driving an electric generator. Each row of the modules chains has a baffle in the form of a wedge to deflect foreign objects. Frames of the modules are interconnected by means of hinges into a series chain. Modules are composed as links of the chain. Hydraulic turbines of adjacent modules are interconnected kinematically. Module is made up as a pair of floating hydraulic turbines, cylindrical housings of which are filled with a material lighter than water, not absorbing water. On the surface of the cylindrical housings of the hydraulic turbines blades are hinged. Blades at rotation of the hydraulic turbine are unfolded into the working position when the blade enters the water. When the blades come out of the water they are folded onto the cylindrical surface of the housing able to be locked in the closed position by means of a mechanism with a replaceable thrust. External surface of the folded blades represents a cylindrical surface. Vertical posts of the baffle mounted on the frame of the first downstream module have the possibility of lifting and lowering into the water.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing material consumption and higher reliability of hydraulic turbines.
