SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in designing of piston internal combustion engines (ICE), as well as piston compressors. Internal combustion engine with variable compression ratio by eccentric mechanism, containing cylinder, piston, which by means of connecting rod is accordingly articulated with crankshaft, which main bearing journal is connected to eccentric disc, driven into motion by gear transmission, in which eccentric disc has slot, in which main bearing journal moves, at same time it moves along fixed guide post vertical slot, eccentric disc is driven into rotation by gear transmission, consisting of eccentric disc geared rim, connected with gear rack, which is driven into motion by control unit controlled hydraulic cylinder. This will enable piston uniform wear and engine service life increasing.
EFFECT: disclosed design allows to prevent crankshaft axis displacement relative to piston axis.
