Disclosed is a method of providing an instant messaging service and multiple services expanded from instant messaging service, method comprising displaying a chat window for a chat room related to an instant messaging service, receiving a touch event input by a user on chat window, selecting one service among a plurality of services, provided by instant messaging service, in response to touch event, and displaying a window related to selected service.
EFFECT: technical result is providing services or applications based on type of window of a chat room.
