FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for electronic messages. This is a method of interactive messaging service use. Method includes a step of successive assignment of identification number to messages transmitted by users participating in a group chat. Then, the method includes selection of identification number of any message associated with each user as a water mark. As well as certain number of users is determined which have not read each message associated with each user or number of users, have read each message associated with each user based on watermark selected for each user.
EFFECT: technical result allows user participating in multi-user chat to determine number of users having read each message transmitted in this chat.
