FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control and computer equipment. Said result is achieved due to a knowledge base containing a domain model representation in the form of objects and connections organized as a oriented bipartite graph, herewith the objects contain parameters, while connections contain rules and each rule has an input variable and an output variable, and each associated with a rule parameter is its input or output variable. Set of known parameters is formed and unknown parameters are entered. Started simultaneously are several started rules, in which a known parameter is the input variable, for which all the other input variables are known, herewith the rule start is simulated by assigning the value "known" to the variables entered in this rule. If found are all the unknown parameters, the said processing is stopped and the task is considered to be solved, otherwise further search for a route of inference is performed. Built is a sequence of started rules in the order of their starting, herewith the built sequence of rules is the route of inference.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of time for building a route of inference.
