FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgic raw materials preparation, namely to production of fluxed agglomerates using ores containing at least wt. 50% of iron, and maximum wt. 10% of oxide of ferrous iron (FeO), and intended for further melting in blast-furnace. Part of ore and lime are mixed and/or crushed together, micro pellets with diameter from 1.6 mm to 5 mm and maximum base-to-silica ratio (CaO/SiO2) 3 units are formed. The micro pellets are held or dried and delivered to flow of pre-mixed coke, return and rest part of ore, palletized, loaded in obtained charge in sintering machine, and agglomerate is sintered.
EFFECT: invention reduces fines yield from agglomerate, increases gas permeability of the charge bed, and reduces solid fuel consumption for sintering.
