FIELD: metallurgy; production of sinter from iron and manganese ores and production of ore-fuel pellets. SUBSTANCE: method includes dosing of components of sinter burden containing concentrates of iron ores, sintered iron ore, flux, solid fuel, iron-containing wastes; mixing of burden, its pelletizing and sintering. In so doing, should burden basicity with respect to CaO/SiO2 change from 1.4 to 2.0, mineral-carbon fractions weight ratio in solid fuel is maintained within 0.08-0.2, and in mineral part of solid fuel, value of alumina modulus (Al2O3/SiO2) ranges from 0.5 to 0.8.
