SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely cardiosurgery and cardio emergency medicine, and can be used for laboratory assessment of severity in intensive care patients of cardiosurgery profile with complicated postoperative period. Essence of the method: in blood smears intensive care patients on a daily basis reveal normoblasts and when determining leukogram is carried out a count of normoblasts and if an amount of normoblasts within the range from 1 to 6 on 100 leukocytes assets severity of the condition as moderate; if an amount of normoblasts within the range 7 to 20 to 100 leukocytes assets severity of the condition as severe; if an amount of normoblasts more 21 on 100 leukocytes assets severity of the condition as extremely severe.

EFFECT: invention provides a simplification evaluation of severity in intensive care patients of cardiosurgery profile with complicated postoperative period.
