SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for lethal outcome prediction in intensive care patients of the cardiosurgical profile, characterised by calculation of the integral index (II) by the formula:

where K1 is the ratio of the platelets number in the patient to the value of the reference interval lower boundary; K2 is the ratio of antithrombin III activity in the patient to the value of the reference interval lower boundary; K3 is the ratio of fibrinogen content in the patient to the value of the reference interval lower boundary; K4 is the ratio of fibrin-monomer content in the patient to the reference value; K5 is the ratio of D-dimer content in the patient to the reference value, and with an integral index below 10.0, lethal outcome is predicted for intensive care patients of the cardiosurgical profile.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of lethal outcome prediction.
