FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: package for a plurality of disposable absorbent articles comprises packaging having a front panel, a back panel, a top panel, a bottom panel, and a pair of side panels. Panels cooperatively define an interior compartment of packaging. Plurality of disposable absorbent articles are compressed within interior compartment of packaging. At least one of side has an opening part including a wedge and a weakening line passing through wedge and functionally connected therewith. Wedge has an upper edge, inner wall and outer wall. Inner and outer walls define a pocket. Line of weakness comprises a first part, a second part and a third part passing between first and second parts and connecting them. First and second parts pass longitudinally from upper edge of wedge to a point situated from upper edge. Third part of line of weakness is located at least partially on inner wall and is located at a distance from upper edge of wedge.
EFFECT: invention simplifies opening of package and enables to obtain a large hole.
