SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to elastomeric strand-based layered materials (including two-layer materials and three-layer materials) containing coiled elastic strands and may have inventive ratios of linear density to the general mass of non-woven material, ratios of linear density to inter-strand intervals and/or correlation between the void area and the strand area. The strand-based layered materials by the present invention can be used in components of a disposable absorbent article (including an underwear waistband) and may include inventive connection placement patterns allowing to produce inventive textures and texture placement patterns. When the inventive strand-based elastomeric layered materials are used as an underwear waistband, the underwear may have inventive application forces, load forces providing a stable fit and unload forces providing a stable fit. Additionally, when the absorbent articles are packed under pressure with an inventive in-package stack height, the elastomeric strand-based layered materials by the present invention retain their inventive properties and characteristics, including their inventive textures.

EFFECT: disclosed ia strand-based layered material that can be used in components of a disposable absorbent article such as an underwear waistband.
