FIELD: radars.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radars and can be used for determining bearing at a source of continuous jamming. Said result is achieved due to that in a method of determining bearing at a source of continuous jamming (SCJ) based on receiving the noise with different antenna gain (AG) values the AG is changed during the reception by modulating the field distribution in the antenna aperture, the modulation depth of the received noise is measured, a decision is taken upon bearing at the SCJ, if the modulation depth differs from the bearing value by not more than the threshold, herewith a radar device for implementing the method of determining bearing at the SCJ containing an antenna with a drive, a receiver, a threshold device and device for evaluating angular coordinates, the first output of the antenna drive is connected to the input of the receiver, and the second one is connected to the second input of the device for evaluating angular coordinates, the receiver output is connected to the input of the threshold device, is introduced with a device for determining the depth of modulation, a threshold device for the modulation depth, a modulation device for the field distribution and a modulating frequency generator, the threshold device output is connected to the input of the device for determining the modulation depth, while its output is connected to the input of the threshold device for the modulation depth, the output of which is connected to the first input of the angular coordinates evaluation device, the modulating frequency generator output is connected to the input of the modulation device for the field distribution, the output of which is connected to the input of the antenna, the output of the angular coordinates evaluation device is the output of the device.

EFFECT: technical result is the increase of accuracy of determining bearing at a source of continuous jamming including at its level instability.
