FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used in inorganic chemistry. Device for producing aluminum hydroxide comprises a vessel for electrolyte. Aluminum electrodes are placed in vessel, fixed on current-conducting elements, which are connected to power supply of electric current. Above vessel for electrolyte there is an exhaust hood. In lower wall of vessel for electrolyte there is an outlet, connected to inlet of a receptacle. Vessel for electrolyte and receptacle are made of organic polymer adapted for attaching a metal housing.

EFFECT: invention reduces consumption of initial aluminum, increases safety of process of oxidation of aluminum, wherein content of non-oxidized aluminum and its impurities in product does not exceed 0,01 wt%.
