FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in internal combustion engines. Arrangement of a valve cover is designed for use on cylinder head (1) of an internal combustion engine. Cylinder head (1) has valve control actuated gas exchange valves associated with at least one inlet and outlet channel. On cylinder head (1) by means of multiple threaded joints (8), (9) is fixed valve cover (2), closing cylinder head from above and connected to crankcase using circumferential seal. Cylinder head (1) on side of inlet channels has a longitudinal cold side (3). Part of threaded joints (9) on cold side (3) of cylinder head (1) is equipped with elastic and/or elastically flexible elements (11). Valve cover (2) at specified excess pressure in crankcase is lifted with cylinder head (1) by a certain area of cover only in area of said cold side (3).
EFFECT: technical result consists in release of excess pressure of crankcase gases, removed through ventilation integrated into cylinder head.
