SUBSTANCE: external installation switching device has open switching stroke, as well as first contact element (5) and second contact element (6). First contact element (5) is movable relative to second contact element (6) using drive device (3). First contact element (5) is arranged on rotary lever (3b) of drive device (3). Rotary lever (3b) is installed on lifting gear mechanism made in form of crank-and-knee mechanism having force reducing counterweights.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of external installation switching device, which at increased flashover distance provides reliable contacting of contact elements.
