FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to solid-state electrochemical sources of current, for example, accumulator batteries and batteries based on double-layer capacitors – super capacitors. Electrochemical device includes composite package of single electrochemical elements, provided that every electrochemical element is composed of at least two electrodes and two separators, stacked electrodes, or electrodes rolled in flat roll with terminal cathode and anode current taps on opposite sides of the roll. Cathode and anode terminal current taps of each pair of adjacent electrochemical elements are connected with common conductive part, protruding beyond the contours of electrode roll. Between adjacent electroconductive parts there are dividing dielectric spacer inserts, forming closed tight circuit around electrochemical elements, that almost completely eliminates transient resistance between them, allowing for higher battery life.
EFFECT: technical invention is reduced labor input and higher efficiency of device.
