FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electrochemical device comprises a composite package of electrochemical unit cells in a laminating enclosure. Each electrochemical cell is made up of two electrodes and two separators, folded into a flat roll with end cathode and anode current taps on opposite sides of the roll. The end current taps of adjacent electrochemical cells in the first version are connected by flexible conductive bridges, and in the second version - are permanently connected to each other directly. Each electrochemical cell in the package is enclosed in a sealed chamber. The chambers are formed by the laminating enclosure same for all the cells and zigzag folded.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the device by reducing the contact resistance of the conductive cells of the battery with the simplicity of the manufacturing process for the electrochemical device assembly.
