FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve industry and is intended for use as safety device in gas-distributing systems. Quick-acting safety valve for gas distribution system includes valve body, upper case mounted on valve body, diaphragm placed between valve body and upper case with first side receiving pressure of gas supply system. At least part of diaphragm is made with possibility of displacement inside valve body and inside upper case. First and the second springs are placed into inner volume of upper casing. First and second springs apply respectively first and second forces acting on second side of diaphragm, opposite to side receiving pressure of gas supply system. Plunger is connected to the first side of diaphragm. Cam is installed so that it can be turned in inner volume of valve body. Cam has first lever in contact with plunger. Fixator is connected to first lever. Fixator is made with possibility of interacting with gate of quick-acting valve. Plunger movement towards cam or from cam provides cam turning and fixator releasing.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving operating reliability of safety device.
