SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to gaseous medium flow controlling devices for gas distribution systems. Safety shut-off device comprises valve body having an inlet and an outlet ports, and determining flow pathway, valve plate support, movable mounted inside the valve body, valve plate mounted on the valve plate support, a return rod functionally connected to the valve plate support and made movable relative to the valve body between the retracted position, in which the valve disc is in the first open position and the extended position in which the valve disc is in the second closed position, wherein the return rod is configured with possibility to be driven by a drive to move the return rod from the retracted position to the extended position. Valve body contains a valve seat, enclosing opening located between inlet port and outlet port. Valve plate support and valve plate are located with possibility to move inside the valve body and are arranged with possibility to move synchronously between a first open position in which the valve plate recedes from the valve seat, and a second closed position in which the valve plate abuts to the valve seat. In the area of their contact, valve plate and the valve plate support comprise a protrusion and a receiving region made with possibility to cooperate to prevent rotation between the valve plate and the valve plate support, when the protrusion adjoins the receiving area. In a second embodiment of the invention, the safety device comprises a rotation prevention assembly located on the valve plate and the valve plate support interacting portions, comprising at least one protrusion and at least one receiving region of a size suitable for accepting a protrusion, wherein the rotation prevention assembly is designed so that, to stop the valve plate rotation relative to the valve plate support. Method of the valve plate rotation stopping in the safety shut-off device, in which a valve body having an inlet port and an outlet port and defining a flow path passing between the inlet and the outlet ports is provided, valve disc support is provided, which is mounted with possibility to move inside the valve body. Valve plate on the valve plate support is installed. Valve plate support and valve plate are located with possibility of movement inside the valve body to enable the valve plate to move between the first open position, in which the valve plate recedes from the valve seat, and a second closed position in which the valve plate abuts to the valve seat. Functionally connecting the return rod to the valve plate support and enabling the rod with possibility to move relative to the valve body between the retracted position, in which the valve plate is in the first open position, and an extended position, in which the valve plate is located in the second closed position. Making it possible to move the return rod by the drive to move the return rod from the retracted position to the extended position and provide a rotation prevention assembly located on the valve plate and the valve plate support interacting portions. Providing a rotation prevention assembly comprising at least one protrusion and at least one receiving region of a size suitable for accepting a protrusion, wherein the rotation prevention assembly is designed so that,wherein the rotation to stop the rotation of the valve plate relative to the valve plate support.
EFFECT: safety shut-off device for gas flow control devices is proposed.
