FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coupling the measuring transducer housing with the measuring device housing for installing and sealing transducers in ultrasonic flow meters. Method includes inserting a weldable object at least partially into a through-bore formed in a tubular body. Tubular body has an interior flow passageway and an outer surface, and the through-bore having a borehole wall. Inert gas is being transmitted between the weldable object and the borehole wall. Gas is being delivered through the through-bore. Weldable object is being welded to the tubular body while the inert gas is being transmitted.
EFFECT: technical result is preventing leakage hydrocarbon leakage without the use of threads and a removable seal material.
