FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle braking. Method of forward moving vehicle braking with internal combustion engine, gearbox, electric machine and planetary gear includes: a) control over electric machine for application of required braking torque to gearbox input shaft, exceeding product of torque required to drive engine into rotation and planetary drive gear ratio; b) control and comparison of two of solar gear wheel rotation speeds, annulus gear and planetary gear drive. Stage a) is continued, performing stage b) repeatedly or continuously until, comparison at stage b) shows, that condition is satisfied, in compliance with which two of solar gear wheel rotation speeds, annulus gear and planetary gear drive are, substantially, equal; c) switching locking means over to locking position, when said condition is satisfied.
EFFECT: improving setting in motion.
