FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging and can be used for increasing the probability of target detection. Said result is achieved due to the fact, that radar station comprises two permanent memory devices, three switches, signal synthesizer, two mixers, power amplifier, directional coupler, circulator, antenna, driving generator, quadrature demodulator, two analogue-to-digital converters, multiplexer, signal processing unit, divider, phase changer, accumulator, adaptive filter, reprogrammable memory device, digital computing machine, provided that the listed components are interconnected in a certain manner. Said technical result is achieved by predistortion in emitted probing signal by passing the emitted signal through adaptive filter, amplitude and phase characteristics of which are selected in special operation mode of radar station.
EFFECT: achieved technical result - reduced level of side lobes of correlation function for any probing signals at a priori unknown characteristics of receiving-transmitting channel.
