FIELD: fuel.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to variants of method for producing high-octane component of motor fuels from olefin mixtures. One of the method variants involves oxidation of olefin mixture with nitrous oxide followed by separation of product mixture as high-octane component. Other version of the method involves oxidation of olefin mixture with nitrous oxide in gas phase at the first stage and at the second stage - condensation of products obtained during the first stage, followed by separation of product mixture as high-octane component. Third version consists in oxidation of olefin mixture with nitrous oxide in gas phase at the first stage and at the second stage - condensation of products obtained during the first stage, followed by the third step involving reaction of mixture from condensed oxygenates produced at the second stage, or mixture of carbonyl compounds produced at the first stage, with hydrogen in the presence of hydrogenizing catalyst, followed by separation of mixture from hydrogenated products as high-octane component.

EFFECT: proposed method allows to produce ecologically clean high-octane additives with octane number of mixing from 100 to 130.
