FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cab equipment and seats for aircraft and other vehicles. A seat contains a pivotally connected seat, a backrest and a mechanism to adjust their position. Wherein the first part of the adjusting mechanism is designed in the form of two screws with the mutually perpendicular cross axes and the wormwheel, which is rigidly fixed to the axis of the first screw placed on the platform and interacting with the toothed wheel, which is rigidly connected to the seat and associated with the second screw made with a through axial hole. The other part of the backrest adjusting mechanism is designed in the form of the third screw, which is located in the hole of the second screw and the wormwheel rigidly connected to the backrest.
EFFECT: design simplification, the enhanced functionality and the improved performance, the reduced weight and dimensional characteristics of the seat and the backrest are achieved.
