FIELD: heating, ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for condensate separation, included in a compressor unit for generating compressed air. It comprises a separator housing (1) having an inlet pipe (4) from the compressor and an outlet pipe (6) for discharging the dehydrated compressed air. On the bottom side of the separator housing (1) a drain valve (7) is provided for draining condensate accumulating in the separator housing (1) through the drain opening (8) into the environment. The drain valve is designed as a seat valve with pneumatic pilot control from the electropneumatic control valve (11). The electropneumatic control valve (11) is placed outside the separator housing (1) and is connected via the control pressure transmission line (10) to the connecting pipe (12) of the drain valve (7). Dry air from the air-drainng installation connected further in the process chain, or, at least, dehydrated compressed air at the outlet side of the condensate separation device, feeds the electropneumatic control valve (11).
EFFECT: invention prevents liquid condensate flow into the draining area of the compressor unit.
