FIELD: controlling bypass and bleed air devices of a gas turbine engine (GTE).
SUBSTANCE: electropneumatic system (EP) for controlling bypass and air bleed devices in GTE includes one or more EPKB with one or more solenoid valves, with the possibility of supplying compressed air as a working fluid to the EPKB inlet from one or more sampling points from the outlet of GTE KB D through air supply pipelines connected with EPKB and combined into manifolds according to the number of air sampling points, and also includes an electronic control unit with one or two channels from which electrical signals are sent to each EPKB solenoid valve, if there is an electrical signal to the EPKB from any of the two channels of the electronic unit, compressed air is connected at the EPKB inlet to the EPKB outlet for supplying a pneumatic command, when an electrical signal is removed from the EPKB, the air cavity of the EPKB outlet is connected to the environment to remove the pneumatic command, and the EPKB outputs are connected to pipelines that ensure the passage of compressed air from the EPKB to devices for bypass and air bleed from HPC stages, for opening or closing the bypass and air bleed required for the current operation conditions of the gas turbine engine or its systems. In addition, from at least one outlet of the EPKB, compressed air is supplied simultaneously to two or more bypass devices or air bleeds of the gas turbine engine. At least one of the EPKB comprises two or more pneumatic channels controlled by separate independent electrical signals, corresponding to the number of electromagnetic valves supplying compressed air to the bypass devices, air extraction of the gas turbine engine independently of each other. In addition, at least one of the EPKB solenoid valves comprises drainage holes. At least one EPKB comprises a compressed air purge device adapted for autonomous position adjustment depending on the temperature of the compressed air supplied to the EPKB inlet. In addition, a self-cleaning filtering device in the form of a cyclone-type air filter is contained at the sampling point at the inlet to the manifold of the compressed air supply pipelines to the EPKB. A control electrical signal is supplied from the electronic control unit to the electromagnetic valves of the EPKB in a pulsed mode. In addition, the system comprises solenoid valves with two inductors in one housing of one solenoid valve. In addition, the system comprises two single-channel electronic control units, and electrical signals to the EPKB solenoid valve come from two single-channel electronic control units.
EFFECT: creating a reliable non-flammable control system for bypass and air bleed devices in the gas turbine engine, as well as improving the reliability of the EP system.
