FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction, in particular to the instruments used in the finishing works for grating the covering layer of skim plaster. The grater comprises the plastic foam rack with a working surface of rectangular shape and the plastic foam handle formed integrally with the rack and secured to the upper surface of the rack by means of vertical support members interconnected by means of the horizontal member. The vertical support elements are made in the form of a continuous vertical wall of the horseshoe shape, resting with its lower part on the upper rack surface in the middle of it, coaxially to the longitudinal axis. The horizontal element is made in the form of a horseshoe-shaped plane conjugated with the upper part of the vertical wall forming together with the latter a niche in the form of the handle on the rack surface. The walls thickness of the vertical wall and the horseshoe-shaped plane is not less than the thickness of the plastic foam handle. The working surface of the plastic foam rack is made square-shaped.

EFFECT: invention provides increased durability and ease of operation due to the operational capabilities expansion.
