FIELD: physics, instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the space technology design. The load-bearing frame consists of cylindrical rods arranged at an angle to each other, with connection nodes at their intersections. The frame is made based on heat pipes. Diameter and wall thickness of the heat pipes are selected to ensure stress conditions not exceeding the yield stress, and to provide pipe self-resonant frequency of at least 150 Hz. Each of the heat pipe connection nodes is a single piece with holes for mounting of the ends of the coupled heat pipes.
EFFECT: increased strength, heat-resistance and reliability of the load-bearing structure for space equipment.
