FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an eye-shaped yoke with pipe and method of pipe sealing. Open eye-shaped yoke comprises a tightening device in the form of so called "Oetiker eye" 12. To facilitate yoke installation on the pipe 20 the yoke previously as, for example, in process of its manufacturing, is exposed to preliminary deformation with such degree providing for its adjacency to pipe 20, for which the yoke was designed, without a gap. Elasticity inherent in the predeformed eye, makes it possible to easily move the yoke to the place of its installation on the pipe 20, at the same time providing for its retention in the necessary position and with the required orientation.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to seal pipes.
