SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hose clamp consisting of a tie band (10) with band sections overlapping in the closed state of the hose clamp, wherein hooks (12, 19) for locking the hose clamp are located in said sections, and with a tension apparatus (15) for tightening the hose clamp around the tightened object, located in the outer section of the band. The hooks (12, 19) are pressed out of the tie band and, accordingly, comprise a protrusion (21, 25), wherein the protrusions (21, 25) of the hooks (12, 19) contain the outer and inner sections of the tie band thereon, while the force is transferred between the surfaces (27) of the hooks (19) located transversely to the longitudinal direction of the tie band (10) and the surfaces (32) of the hooks (12) located transversely to the longitudinal direction of the tie band (10), when the hose clamp is tightened. The surfaces (27, 32) of the hooks are mutually adjoining, and the protrusion (21) of at least one hook (12) located in the inner section of the band and the protrusion (25) of the hook (19) located in the outer section of the band are in engagement.
EFFECT: creation of a hose clamp adjustable in diameter, with high-strength elements connecting the inner and outer sections of the tie band.
