FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to polyoxyalkylene amine -modified sulphonated block copolymers comprising: a) a sulphonated block copolymer comprising two polymer end blocks A, substantially free of functional groups of sulphonic acid or sulfonic ester and one polymer interior block B, containing approximately from 10 to 100 mol. % of the functional groups of sulphonic acid or sulfonic ester, per the number of sulfonation sensitive links of block B, and b) polyoxyalkylene amine in the amount of from about 0.6 to 2 mole equivalents of amine groups per mole of sulphonic acid or sulfonic ester of sulfonated block copolymer; where polyoxyalkylene amine is a compound of the formula R1-(O-A)x-NH2, where R1 > is C1-C18-alkyl or amino-C2-C4-alkylene, A in each case is C C2-C4-alkylene and x is a figure of 2 - 100. There is alo the description of the process for producing the above block copolymers by means of the modification of the unmodified above sulphonated block copolymers, having end blocks A and the inner block B, where each A block is substantially free of functional groups of sulphonic acid or sulfonic ester and each B block is a polymer block containing from about 10 to 100 mol. % of the functional groups of sulphonic acid or sulfonate ester, per the number of sulfonation sensitive monomer links of block B, and this method comprises preparing a solution or dispersion containing unmodified sulfonated block copolymer (a) in an organic solvent and combining the solution or dispersion and an effective amount of at least one polyoxyalkylene amine. There is also description of a membrane or a film comprising the above modified sulphonated block copolymer and the apparatus containing this membrane. The coated article is described which has a base and a coating composition comprising the above modified sulphonated block copolymer.
EFFECT: invention provides producing a modified sulphonated block copolymer, which ensures membranes and films having improved properties.
