FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of mounting with the aid of hold-down conveyer belt includes placement of hold-down belt of conveyer drive and movement of hold-down belt together with weight-loading belt around drums of conveyer drive. The first end of hold-down belt is connected to weight-loading belt in advance of drums of conveyer drive, and the second end of hold-down belt is fixed stationary and as a result tension of weight-loading belt is loosened. Then the first end of hold-down belt is displaced together with weight-loading belt around drums of conveyer drive. Afterwards the first end of hold-down belt is disconnected from weight-loading belt, the second end of hold-down belt is freed, ends of hold-down belts are connected, and closed loop is formed. Then weight-loading belt and hold-down one are strained.
EFFECT: reduction of working time and number of personnel hours for belt mounting is achieved.
