SUBSTANCE: electric drive of the slope belt conveyor comprises rounding of the cargo and / or empty branches of belt drive and deflecting drums mounted on the conveyor frame and connected to the electric motors and brakes through gearboxes or without them. Electric motors are connected to the power supply and conveyor control systems. Electric drive comprises additional drum, which bends around belt empty branch and is connected through a multiplier or without it with electric generator that transmits electricity to power supply and conveyor control systems.
EFFECT: it is possible to use a conveyor belt with reduced strength.
