FIELD: weapons and ammo.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the military area, particularly, to the mounting bracket for auxiliaries of the Kalashnikov assault rifle. The bracket contains two pivotally interconnected halves forming the longitudinal hole for the barrel when combined. The halves are screwed above the barrel, while lateral and bottom parts of the halves are performed in the form of projections with Picatinny rails. The top part of a bracket half is performed in the form of a sector corresponding by dimensions to the radiuses of the gas cylinder and gas cylinder tube of the Kalashnikov assault rifle. The projections with Picatinny rails have air holes, and there are holes for gas discharge from the gas cylinder, as well as the mounting of auxiliaries without clips for Picatinny rails, on the lateral surfaces of the bracket halves.
EFFECT: mounting bracket for auxiliaries of the Kalashnikov assault rifle possesses high repeatability, effective heat sink, possibility to install devices on it that have no clips for Picatinny rails.
